Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team in Mt Pleasant, PA. The role involves behavioral modification support, data collection, and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans within a school setting.

Responsibilities include group and one-on-one work, safety care training, de-escalation techniques, and documenting interventions under clinical guidance. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• The Intervention Specialist creates and implements Positive Behavior Support Plans and engages in data collection and progress reporting.
• Works one-on-one or with groups in a school setting.
• Passes and implements safety care training; can de-escalate and document interventions.

Responsibilities

• The Intervention Specialist provides behavioral modification support to the classroom.
• Co-facilitate group sessions with a certified clinician; lead groups when clinician unavailable.
• May perform other related duties as required or assigned.
