Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to join our team serving Cambria County, PA. The role provides one-on-one interventions with children or adolescents in home, school, and community settings, following a behavior modification plan developed by senior staff.

Responsibilities include implementing prescribed interventions, documenting progress, collaborating with the treatment team, and attending required trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete 40hr RBT Training prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one interventions to a child or adolescent at home, school, or community settings.
• Implement a behavior modification treatment plan based on recommendations from the evaluation and developed by a senior team member.
• Utilize prescribed interventions to address problematic behaviors across settings.
• Model and transfer intervention techniques to family and treatment team to support discharge of services.
• Document behavioral data and maintain progress notes for every billable contact and regulatory requirements.
• Submit payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor and complete county paperwork as required.
• Attend supervision sessions and required trainings.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
