Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or human services.
• Five years' experience in human services including work with school-age youth.
• Familiarity with SAP process and schools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ATOD services via small group discussions, in-class demonstrations, and other activities.
• Assist teachers and school personnel with program implementation and support.
• Assist in emergency situations and protect student health and welfare.
• Collaborate with school personnel in handling at-risk situations following procedures.
• Design activities or lessons essential for the program.
• Attend staff meetings and provide input to strategies.
• Develop and present trainings to schools or professionals.
• Collect and tabulate program and training materials and forms.
• Provide prevention information to parent groups and community coalitions.
• Maintain program reporting and billing data and internal/external reports.
• Keep departmental records of services provided and stay current with field changes.
• Work to obtain and maintain professional credentials through trainings and staff development.
• Manage AV materials and other program resources; attend meetings/trainings.
