Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals to support students across general and special education settings in California. This part-time role focuses on one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support to reinforce lessons and foster student growth.

Ideal candidates have experience with children or individuals with special needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow instructional plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and classroom procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons and classroom routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development.
• Support implementation of IEPs and accommodations.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the school team.
• Prepare instructional materials and learning activities.
