Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs in California seeks an Instructional Aide to support grades K-12, assist with IEPs, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. The role involves classroom and community-based instruction, behavior support, and documentation to guide student growth.

You will collaborate with teachers, monitor progress, and help students reach individualized goals while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preference for associate degree or higher in education.
• Valid CA driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with IEPs in special education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction and supervise students in classroom and community settings.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of behaviors and activities.
• Provide safe and supportive transportation for students when needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative, student-centered learning environment.
