Hackley Community Care is seeking a friendly School-Based Health Receptionist Float to support multiple school sites in Muskegon County. You will greet students and families, register patients, verify insurance, and coordinate appointments while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with school-aged children and healthcare customer service is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EHR systems are important.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites are required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome students, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries.
• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify and update insurance information.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.

Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, integrated healthcare services to the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding communities. What You\'ll Do

Under the direction of the School Program Manager, the School-Based Health Receptionist Float will:

• Welcome students, families, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• One to two years of experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Medical office, patient registration, or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation to travel between school locations.
