Job summary

Northwest Michigan Health Services, Inc. (NMHSI) seeks an experienced School Program Coordinator to lead operations across our school-based health clinics and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will supervise clinic staff, coordinate staffing and workflows, and uphold regulatory compliance while expanding services for children and adolescents in partnership with schools and community organizations. Health benefits and strong PTO support are included.

Qualifications

• Leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate operations across multiple clinic locations.
• Experience supervising staff and managing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, grants, and health education.
• Proficiency with EHR systems recommended.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support staff across all NMHSI school-based clinic locations.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workflows, and daily operations for high-quality care.
• Build relationships with school districts, families, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with NMHSI policies, grants, MDHHS standards, HIPAA, and FERPA.
• Monitor program budgets, work plans, and required reporting with Finance.
• Analyze clinic performance data and patient feedback for quality improvement.
• Coordinate advisory council meetings, site visits, and follow-up activities.
• Plan and document health education, prevention, and outreach activities.
• Foster a collaborative workplace culture focused on patient care.
