Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Specialist III - School Based Health Partnerships to lead collaboration between district health services and community partners to expand campus-based healthcare, dental, physical, and behavioral services.

The role manages program implementation, monitors grants, and coordinates with nurses, health staff, and external partners to improve student wellbeing and achievement. This is a grant-funded, exempt position with 219 duty days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program or Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist PhD.
• Five to eight years of related experience working with children, adolescents and families in a clinical or school setting.
• Possess a valid Texas professional licensure in RN, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobile health services to campuses.
• Provide training to FWISD School Nurses and Health Assistants.
• Serve as liaison for health partners, including UNTHSC, Goodside Health, and Children's Oral Health Coalition partners.
• Develop and oversee the Health Partnership Action Plan.
• Travel between schools or districts as required.
