Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Family & Community Outreach Specialist (High School Only) to accelerate parent involvement and strengthen the school community. You will coordinate with the Parent Partnerships team, use technology to engage families, and connect them with campus and district opportunities to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university required.
• Experience: 2 years providing support services to students and parents required; Presently or formerly a FWISD parent preferred.
• Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) working proficiency preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Accelerates engaging parents in student achievement and whole-school community efforts.
• Educates families on District opportunities and communication tools (Parent Portal, District App, etc.).
• Engages stakeholders and community partners to improve student performance.
• Plans and conducts parent engagement workshops and informational sessions.
• Maintains campus communications channels and supports parent meetings throughout the year.
