Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Specialist III - School Based Health Partnerships to lead collaborations among FWISD health services, students, and community partners, expanding campus-based dental, physical, and behavioral services. The role drives program management, planning, and compliance across grant-funded initiatives to improve student wellbeing and achievement.

The position reports to the Director of School-based Health Partnerships.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program or a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist PhD.
• Five to eight years of related experience with children, adolescents and families in clinical or school settings.
• Valid Texas professional licensure (RN, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads collaboration among FWISD health partnerships and community partners to expand campus-based health services.
• Coordinates mobile health services to targeted campuses and districts.
• Provides training and support to FWISD School Nurses and Health Assistants.
• Represents FWISD as liaison with health partners and coordinates campus/community health events.
• Develops the Health Partnership Action Plan and manages grant-related activities.
• Monitors compliance, reports, and data collection for grant programs.
