Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health, LLC. is seeking an Early Intervention Therapist for the Howard County Public Schools.

The role focuses on social, emotional and behavioral support for Pre-K to 5th grade students in the Howard County School System, with 37.5–38.5 hours weekly and some scheduling flexibility. The ideal candidate is fully licensed in Maryland (LMSW/LGPC/LCSW-C/LCPC or equivalent) and capable of collaborating with school staff and families.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland licenses in social work or professional counseling required.
• Ability to work with children aged 4+ and provide school-based therapy.
• Experience forming professional relationships with school staff and families.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply and support diversity in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of students in the Howard County School System.
• Attend meetings with school-based teams and provide consultation.
• Develop and deliver school-specific trainings on behavioral health.
• Collaborate with Thrive staff to implement effective interventions.
