Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health is hiring Licensed Social Workers, Counselors, and Marriage & Family Therapists in Maryland to provide behavioral support within the Cecil County Early Intervention Program. The position is year‑round, 40 hours per week, in the Bel Air Office, with some duties possibly performed virtually.

Applicants must hold an active Maryland license (LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT, LCSW‑C, LCMFT, or LCPC) and have experience with children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland professional license in LMSW/LGPC/LGMFT/LCSW‑C/LCMFT/LCPC is required.
• Experience working with children and adolescents ages 3‑17.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Knowledge of DSM‑5 diagnoses and treatment planning basics.
• Familiarity with ethical codes and supervision when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of Early Intervention students.
• Provide behavioral support in schools and students’ homes.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to implement intervention plans.
• Assist in program development and related tasks.
• Attend Early Intervention team meetings and other interested meetings as needed.
• Receive supervision from a Thrive therapist; support of a Thrive therapist aide.
• Utilize multiple intervention types and evidence‑based practices.
