Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in dental hygiene is required.
• Unrestricted Hawaii license to practice dental hygiene required.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral health assessments.
• Implement Hawaii Keiki sealant program for children at DOE schools.
• Provide preventative services including fluoride varnish and sealants in schools with portable setups.
• Provide oral health education to students and staff.
• Serve as an oral health resource to Hawaii Keiki nurses.
• Collaborate with the Core Dental Sealant team to provide preventive services.
• Mentor Dental Hygiene students during clinical rotations.
