University Health Partners of Hawai'i seeks a Hawaii Keiki Dental Hygienist to implement education and preventive dental services for keiki in school settings. The role works with the Program Manager and Dentist, focusing on sealants, screenings, and fluoride varnish under supervision, across multiple Oahu schools.
Responsibilities include oral health education, collaboration with nurses, and mentoring students during rotations.
The Hawaii Keiki Dental Hygienist (Dental Hygienist), in coordination with the Program Manager for Oral Health (Program Manager), is responsible for implementing education and providing services for the prevention of oral disease services. In addition, the Dental Hygienist will implement the dental sealant program and under the supervision of the Program Manager and Dentist provide oral health screening, sealants, and additional preventive services to keiki within the school complex area.
School dental hygiene practice requiresa combination of professional clinical dental hygiene practice with a specialized component that promotes the health, well-being, academic achievement, and success of the school-age child.
Work days include: Monday - Friday
