Job summary

Baltimore County Public Schools seeks a school-based resource teacher to provide in-house expertise, support in curriculum implementation, data analysis, and planning for instruction across elementary and middle school. The role includes professional development and collaboration with staff to strengthen academic programs.

Responsibilities include analyzing data with school leadership, co-planning and co-teaching, modeling effective instructional practices, and preparing students for state

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of teaching experience.
• Maryland Educator Professional Certificate or eligibility required.
• Maryland Educator Advanced Professional Certificate or Advanced Professional License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data with school leadership to support academic programs.
• Assist teachers with implementing instructional programs and co-planning/co-teaching.
• Provide targeted teacher support based on School Progress Plans.
• Model research-based instructional strategies aligned to standards in a blended environment.
• Prepare students for success on BCPS and state assessments.
• Provide academic instruction or intervention for small groups.
• Support teacher professional growth with targeted professional learning.
• Collaborate with central curriculum offices to implement cohesive programs.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
• Maintain ongoing professional growth in instruction.
