Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students with diverse needs across multiple Marana-area school sites for a full school year. This itinerant, full-time role emphasizes advancing student independence and participation in daily routines, with district supervision, collaboration with educators and families, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license required.
• Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy.
• Comfortable traveling between approximately three school sites.
• IVP Fingerprint Card required for school-based work in Arizona.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, therapists, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Adapt activities and environment to facilitate student participation in daily school routines.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff to monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.
• Provide insight and assistance to school personnel and families regarding strategies for student success.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
