Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in California to join a school-based team for the 2026-2027 year. This full-time contract position offers collaboration with two supervising OTs, serving students district-wide with opportunities for part-time scheduling for flexibility.

You will deliver direct OT services, support IEP goals, document progress, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to travel within the district as needed.
• Passion for fostering students' independence and functional skills in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy intervention to students under supervision of two OTs.
• Support students' participation and success in academic and social activities per IEPs.
• Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt and modify activities or environments to support student learning and engagement.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
