Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Riverside, CA is seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students' growth and functional skills for the upcoming school year. This full-time position is based in a vibrant school setting and runs ASAP through the end of the school year, providing meaningful opportunities to help students participate more fully in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Valid certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• School-based experience is highly regarded, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing therapeutic interventions in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work a consistent schedule, 40 hours per week, through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of individualized and group occupational therapy sessions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in assessing students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success in school-related tasks and activities.
• Document student progress, monitor response to interventions, and help adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and paperwork as required by the team.
