Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Toledo, OH to provide occupational therapy services in the school setting under occupational therapy supervision.

This contract is part-time, 20 hours per week, paying $25 per hour, with responsibilities including treatment, implementation, data collection, and documentation for students while meeting applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of OccupationalTherapy Assistant.
• One year of experience as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services including treatment, implementation, data collection, and documentation to students in the school setting under supervision.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of OccupationalTherapy Assistant

Tools

Current certification/licensure as OTA

Pediatric experience preferred

One year OTA experience preferred

Complies with professional standards

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate
