Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a school setting in Corona, CA. This contract–part time role offers 30 hours per week with pay at $40 per hour.

The COTA will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT, including treatment, data collection, and documentation for students. Minimum credentials include state licensure and graduation from an accredited OTA program.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services, including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required

• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred

• Pediatric experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
