Amergis is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Toledo, OH to provide occupational therapy services in the school setting under occupational therapy supervision.

This contract is part-time, 20 hours per week, paying $25 per hour, with responsibilities including treatment, implementation, data collection, and documentation for students while meeting applicable standards.

Formación

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of OccupationalTherapy Assistant.
• One year of experience as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice

• Graduate of an accredited school of OccupationalTherapy Assistant required

• One (1) year of experience as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant preferred

• Pediatric experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
