Schoolforce Solutions Inc is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for the school year to support students in the learning environment. You will provide occupational therapy under supervision, assist with IEPs, address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care and classroom participation, and help integrate therapy into daily instruction with data-driven progress notes.

Competitive hourly pay range $22.00-$30.00, and benefits including 4% 401(k) match, vacation, holidays,

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Washington State OT Assistant license required.
• Supervised fieldwork in pediatric or school setting.
• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist in implementing IEPs and therapy plans to support student learning.
• Work with students on fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Support students in developing adaptive behaviors to engage in school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies.
• Assist in data collection and progress monitoring to evaluate therapy effectiveness.
• Recommend and help implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with OSPI and IDEA guidelines.
