Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support K-12 students in a Redlands, CA school setting. This full-time contract starts as soon as possible and extends through the current school year, with potential renewal for performers who thrive in the role.

The COTA will work under an OT to empower students for school success, with a competitive hourly rate starting at $40, adjusted by experience.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Preferred experience in a school or pediatric setting.
• Ability to manage a K-12 caseload.
• Strong collaboration with OT, teachers and support teams.
• Understanding of IEP documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under supervising OT.
• Assist in assessments and documentation for IEPs.
• Adapt interventions to meet individual goals and classroom needs.
• Observe, record, and report student progress.
• Collaborate with school personnel to foster development and inclusion.
