Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the Sacramento, CA area for a school-year contract. You will provide direct OT services, support IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families under a licensed OT supervisor.

This on-site role emphasizes building fine motor and functional life skills across a diverse K-12 caseload. The position offers mentorship, a stable weekly schedule of 30 hours, and the chance to impact students’ academic and personal growth

Qualifications

• Active COTA certification and licensure in California
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with a diverse K-12th grade caseload
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organization skills
• Confidence utilizing digital platforms and collaborating with a virtual OT supervisor

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed OT
• Execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, fellow therapists, and families to promote student success
• Contribute to assessments, data collection, and the creation of therapy materials
• Support students’ development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
