Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract position in Red Bluff, CA. You will implement therapy plans, work with students individually or in small groups, and document progress for reporting to the educational team.

You will collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student performance and adapt techniques to meet each child’s needs, while supporting classroom modifications and assistive technology as required.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Able to develop and implement therapy goals for school-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans designed by supervising OTs.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to build daily living and classroom skills.
• Document student progress and report outcomes to the educational team.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student performance.
• Adapt therapy techniques to fit each student’s needs and abilities.
• Support classroom modifications, sensory strategies, and assistive technology needs.
