Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a dynamic school environment near Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, contract opportunity provides coverage for two consecutive maternity leaves, offering a unique chance to contribute within a collaborative educational setting.

You will deliver direct services under supervision, support IEP goals, complete documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona COTA licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEPs and school therapy documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families and students.
• Resourcefulness and flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Support IEP goals collaboratively with other team members.
• Complete required documentation and progress reports for student records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning sessions as needed.
• Utilize engaging therapeutic activities to support students' development of functional school skills.
