Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Clinic-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support developmentally disabled and dual-diagnosed pediatric students in a school-based program in Phoenix, AZ. The role emphasizes emotional regulation, sensory processing, and visual-motor goals within ABA environments.

You will work under supervision, manage a ~30-client weekly caseload, and collaborate with educators and therapy staff to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• NBCOT (AOTCB) certification eligibility.
• Eligible for Arizona state licensure.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions independently with supervision support.
• Deliver OT services within ABA programming environments for pediatric clients.
• Provide OT services to pediatric clients ages 2–18.
• Focus treatment on emotional regulation, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and developmental goals.
• Maintain an average caseload of ~30 clients weekly (≈6 sessions/day).
• Document sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
