Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based assignment across Pre-K–12. Beginning August 27, 2026, this temporary contract runs about 12 weeks to cover a maternity leave, with a strong extension possibility depending on district needs.

You will travel within the district to support students, deliver services aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with educators and related staff, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Active CT DPH licensure for COTA or OT; NBCOT required for COTA.
• School-based experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Pre-K–12 students across disabilities.
• Reliable transportation to travel between district schools.
• Commitment to maternity leave assignment; extension possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals and student needs.
• Collaborate with OTs, educators, and related service staff.
• Document student progress and maintain records.
• Work with students individually or in groups to support goals.
• Adapt to rotating schedules across district schools.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required.
