Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contracted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a Massachusetts school setting near North Dighton. You will work with an Occupational Therapist and education staff to help children reach their academic and functional goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with ongoing professional development and a flexible contract schedule. MA licensure and pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
• Ability to adapt activities and interventions for varying student needs.
• Organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with evaluations, implement approved treatment plans, and track student progress.
• Support students in developing motor skills, adaptive strategies, and independence in classroom routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
