Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based, on-site contract in Fairhaven, MA. Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active MA COTA license required.
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct therapy services to students to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service logs.
• Support students with classroom participation and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to carry over therapy strategies into the classroom.
• Assist with preparing therapy materials and adapting equipment as needed.
