Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Massachusetts is seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a short-term contract in a school setting near Brockton. This full-time role runs Jan 2027 through May 2027, 35 hours/week, with a focus on elementary students and collaborative planning with the supervising OT.

The ideal candidate holds a MA COTA license, pediatric/educational OT experience, and strong communication with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license in Massachusetts (COTA MA).
• Experience delivering OT services in educational or pediatric settings.
• Knowledge of school-based COTA practices and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized OT interventions for elementary students under supervision.
• Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress and IEPs.
• Maintain session notes and progress reports per district procedures.
• Adapt to multiple classrooms and diverse student needs with flexibility.
