Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in a school setting outside Wilmington, MA. This 0.8 FTE contract role offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement OT services for children across varied educational settings.

Responsibilities include direct and consultative OT, IEP alignment, progress documentation, and teamwork with educators to promote student success. Compensation ranges with benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active COTA certification/licensure required.
• Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal tracking.
• Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators and MDTs.
• Strong organizational and proactive approach to daily challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Support students' functional skills development within classroom and small-group environments.
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans and therapy activities tailored to each student’s needs.
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and participate in team meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Adjust therapy techniques to align with best practices and student goals.
