Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Bethel, CT is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K-12 students on a contract basis. You will provide direct therapy services, collaborate with the Educational Team, and help students develop skills for academic and social participation.

The assignment runs from August 26 through November 16, 2026, with potential for extension. The schedule is weekday, 6.5 hours per day, with no evenings or weekends, and benefits may be included.

Qualifications

• Active COTA certification and CT licensure eligibility.
• Experience in school settings or pediatrics preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills for sessions and documentation.
• Comfort working with a diverse K-12 caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students per IEPs.
• Assist lead OT with assessments, data collection, and treatment planning.
• Implement developmentally appropriate interventions to boost participation.
• Document services and progress; communicate with staff and families.
• Participate in team meetings to share progress insights.
