Job summary

ChildSavers in Richmond, VA partners with Richmond Public Schools to provide outpatient mental health services for middle school students.

We seek a license-eligible or licensed clinician who will join a clinical team to deliver trauma-informed care, case management, and family supports, within a 100-year-old organization dedicated to the highest quality of care.

This role offers collaboration with school staff and community partners, ongoing professional development, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology or related field; experience with trauma-informed care with children.
• License-eligible and qualified as a Supervisee/Resident per VA Board.
• Valid VA driver's license and insurable to drive a company vehicle.
• Other requirements per DMAS/licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapeutic clinical care and case management per DBHDS/DMAS regulations.
• Develop and implement Individual, Family, and Group treatment interventions.
• Provide direct therapy to assigned caseload; participate in group therapy and team coverage.
• Maintain compliance with funding source regulations and documentation.
• Coordinate referrals, intake assessments, and diagnoses as needed.
• Collaborate with partners and community agencies to support client care.
• Maintain certifications in behavior management training and CPR/First Aid.
• Represent ChildSavers professionally in meetings with partners.
