Job summary

ChildSavers in Richmond, VA seeks a Contract Therapist for the Outpatient Services team to deliver psychotherapy, perform intake assessments, and coordinate referrals in a compassionate, trauma-informed setting.

You will document all client contact in our EHR, maintain compliance with HIPAA and funding rules, participate in supervision, and complete onboarding and annual trainings while supporting families and children under community-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional with Virginia credentials (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Spanish fluency and advanced certification (e.g., EMDR Level II) preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and related credentials required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and attend psychotherapy and consultation appointments.
• Perform referral calls and case management calls as needed.
• Document all client contact in the electronic health records system within 24 hours of service.
