Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Colorado seeks a fully licensed school-based therapist to support elementary and middle school students in the Boulder Valley School District. The Kid Success Therapist will collaborate with school staff, provide individual and group therapy, and offer family psychoeducation as needed.

This is a full-time on-site role with a competitive benefits package, aimed at improving student mental health and family well-being within the community.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling from a CACREP-accredited program.
• Licensed (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/PsyD/PhD) to practice in Colorado.
• At least two years of child/adolescent/family therapy experience.
• Familiarity with DSM IV/V codes and Medicaid paperwork.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group therapy to students.
• Provides therapy and psychoeducation to families of students as needed.
• Consults and collaborates with school staff regarding student needs and behaviors.
• Provides crisis intervention support.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation per agency standards.
• Participates in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.
