Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery invites qualified therapists to join our School-Based Services team for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy in K-12 settings, with trauma‑informed approaches and collaborative care across schools and families.

This is a full‑time, in‑person role following the school calendar and paid over 12 months. We offer supervision, meaningful PTO during school breaks, and a strong commitment to culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Unlicensed Therapist or Psychologist: must obtain a mental health Candidate Permit within 30 days of hire and pursue licensure.
• Licensed Therapist or Psychologist: must have Colorado licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Psychologist) with intent to transfer if out of state.

Responsibilities

• Function as integral team member and contribute to a collaborative workplace culture.
• Deliver clinical services to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Utilize trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented, evidence‑based interventions.
