Job summary

Family of Kidz in Westbury, NY is seeking a Billing Specialist for School-Based Services. This full-time role focuses on reviewing attendance and invoices, resolving billing issues, and communicating with districts. The position requires Excel proficiency and attention to detail.

You will apply weekly payments, reconcile accounts, and assist with contracts and aging receivables. A fast-paced environment with strong customer service is expected.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Billing experience preferred, especially in school-age programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Special Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review attendance, session notes and provider invoices for compliance.
• Assist providers with billing problems and system issues.
• Create District invoices and correspond with districts.
• Apply payments weekly and reconcile cash accounts.
• Follow up with Districts for aging receivables; collections.
• Assist with District contracts/addendums/RFPs.
• Handle ad hoc projects and reports.
