Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a detail-oriented billing professional to review attendance, notes and provider invoices for compliance. You’ll assist with billing problems, create and reconcile district invoices, and apply payments weekly while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

The role requires 2–3 years of billing experience in school-age settings, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Monday–Friday, in Westbury, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s preferred.
• Billing experience is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
• 2-3 years billing experience in School Age billing preferred.
• Knowledge of Special Education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review submitted attendance, session notes and provider invoices for compliance.
• Assist providers with billing problems and system issues.
• Help create District invoices and correspond with districts.
• Apply payments on a weekly basis and reconcile cash accounts.
• Follow up with Districts for Aging Receivables; Collections.
• Assist with District Contracts/Addendums/Request for Proposals.
• Any ad hoc projects/reports.
