Woodfords Family Services is seeking a school-based Behavioral Health Professional to work one-on-one with students in public schools, helping them reach learning and development goals.
This full-time position runs 7:30am–3:00pm on weekdays, with no weekends. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus paid after the 60-day period and again after 6 months. Training is provided upon hire.
Position Summary School-based BHPs work one-on-one with children and adolescents within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development goals. Individual needs are assessed and based on the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and self-care. Through the use of evidence-based practices and intervention, BHPs help foster a therapeutic and meaningful learning environment for students to grow and thrive with independence!
Not certified as a School-Based BHP? We'll cover the training! Woodfords Family Services is proud to provide the Behavioral Health Professional Training & Certificate Program for the State of Maine. Through high-quality training, supervision, ongoing support and mentorship opportunities, graduates of the course are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive in their role and make a positive impact for the families they serve!
