Woodfords Family Services in Maine seeks a PTC Program Training Specialist to design, update, and deliver curricula for diverse learners statewide, including staff, program participants, self-advocates, and natural supports. The role offers in-person and virtual instruction with opportunities to travel across Maine.
You will teach Direct Support Worker and Core curricula, BHP and DSP Pathways, CPR, and other required trainings, while maintaining instructor certifications and up-to-date materials.
The PTC Program Training Specialist plays a vital role in the development, maintenance, and delivery of training curricula for customers across Maine. This position supports provider agency staff, Workforce Development Program participants, self-advocates, and natural supports through high-quality instruction in a variety of training areas, including Direct Support Worker (DSW) and PTC Core curricula, BHP and DSP Pathways, CPR, and other required courses.
This role is ideal for an experienced trainer who enjoys both curriculum development and instruction, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is committed to supporting learners through engaging, professional, and accessible training experiences delivered in person and virtually.
