Job summary

Responsibilities include data collection, assisting in FBA data gathering, implementing behavior plans, and collaborating with staff. Training in PBIS and de-escalation will be provided; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; associate degree acceptable.
• Experience with behaviorally complex children preferred.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Collect data within the school environment.
• Assist in data-gathering for Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Assist in developing and implementing behavioral programs and plans.
• Support staff in techniques to implement behavioral systems.
• Assist in shaping and teaching appropriate behavior to students.
• Monitor data and share recommendations for intervention with staff.
• Supervise students requiring specific behavioral intervention.
• Comply with district policies and participate in training.
