Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC in Inglewood, CA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support students with developmental and behavioral challenges in a school setting. You will implement BIPs developed by a BCBA and deliver interventions across classroom, playground, and cafeteria environments.

Data collection, teamwork with teachers, and confidentiality are required. A high school diploma is preferred; reliable transportation is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong English proficiency including grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension.
• Basic mathematics understood.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges across classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias.
• Utilize positive behavior support techniques to teach replacement behaviors and social skills.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress using tracking systems.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive support system.
• Regularly communicate with BCBA/Behavior Specialist regarding progress and concerns.
• Participate in team meetings and student support meetings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
