Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a Behavior Technician/Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting, working closely with teachers to reinforce lessons and provide one-on-one or small-group assistance. The role emphasizes structure, teamwork, and a daily positive impact in the classroom.

You will help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally with ongoing guidance from experienced school-based professionals and access to an online community of clinicians and school

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school-based setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance.
  • Help reinforce lessons and support student learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support diverse learners.
  • Contribute to a positive classroom environment where students feel safe and valued.

Requirements

Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school-based setting

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance

High School Diploma or GEDrequired
