Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a FACS Behavior Interventionist to provide direct school-based behavior intervention services in collaboration with students, teachers, and families. You’ll implement individualized assessment and intervention plans, collect data, and apply de-escalation and reinforcement strategies to help students participate safely and successfully in daily routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience working with students and challenging behaviors preferred.
• Crisis intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior intervention services in a school setting.
• Collect and document behavior data accurately.
• Use de-escalation, pre-crisis, crisis, and post-crisis interventions as trained.
• Implement reinforcement and cognitive restructuring strategies.
• Attend training, supervision, and mentor meetings.
• Support daily fitness, hygiene, and toileting routines when required by student needs.
