Job summary

Intercare Therapy in California is hiring Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionists for in-home and clinic-based work with children with autism. No ABA experience needed—paid training is provided. The role offers a part-time schedule with mornings, afternoons, and early evenings.

You will travel locally (20–40 miles), work 1:1 to build communication and daily living skills, and collaborate with families and supervisors. Vaccination may be required per guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with college coursework or enrollment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance.
• Willingness to travel locally (20–40 miles radius).
• Passion for working with children; bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children in home and clinic settings using ABA (training provided).
• Help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Travel to client homes and local community locations to provide services.
• Collaborate with families and supervisors to support progress.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment for each child.

Pay & Schedule

• $19.25 to $23.00 per hour
• Part-time role

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma + one of the following:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, registration & insurance
• Comfortable with local travel to nearby client locations (20 to 40mi radius)
• Passion for working with children (experience preferred)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, kneeling, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs. while engaging with children
