Job summary

Merakey is seeking a School Based Behavior Health Technician to provide 1:1 behavioral health services in family homes, schools, and community settings in Huntingdon, PA 16652. You will apply evidence-based treatment and maintain progress notes to support the child and family.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field, has a PA driver’s license, and can work evenings or weekends. Merakey offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related discipline is required.
• Experience with family systems and working with children in clinical settings preferred.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implements behavior modification plans developed with family, school and Therapist.
• Intervenes when the child exhibits problem behaviors and documents progress.
• Maintains records noting progress and communicates with Therapist daily.
• Maintains regular communication with families, schools and other service providers.
• Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet caseload needs.
