Job summary

Merakey is seeking a School Based Behavioral Health Technician to work in Mt. Union Area School District, Mount Union, PA. The role provides 1:1 behavioral services in schools and homes using evidence-based interventions to assist children and families.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, has family systems experience, and is willing to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends. Benefits include PTO, medical coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related discipline.
• Experience with family systems and with children and families in a clinical setting preferred.
• Must have PA driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implements a behavior modification plan in collaboration with family, school and Therapist.
• Intervenes when the child exhibits problem behaviors.
• Maintains records noting progress and problem areas.
• Reports to Therapist on a daily basis.
• Provides treatment services to families including skills training and education.
• Maintains regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other providers.
