Job summary

TheraPeds LLC is seeking a dedicated BCBA for a full-time school-based position in San Carlos, California for the 2026–2027 school year. You will support students in grades 6–12, collaborate with educators and families, and implement evidence-based behavior analytic interventions on campus.

You’ll conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, and provide direct and consultative ABA services in diverse classroom settings while ensuring compliance and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field meeting BACB requirements.
• Current BCBA certification with BACB.
• Experience with FBAs and BIPs; strong collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify functions of challenging behaviors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Provide direct and consultative ABA services in individual, small group, and classroom settings.
• Use ABA strategies including positive reinforcement and functional communication training.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and intervention effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student goals.
• Supervise and support RBTs and other staff as assigned.
