Job summary

VerbaCare, Inc. is hiring a School-Based BCBA to support preschool through high school students in the San Jose area. This full-year, W-2 position offers mentorship and collaboration with teachers, IEP teams, and families to implement behavior plans.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, training staff, collecting data, and ensuring compliance during IEP meetings while advancing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification (BACB).
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs.
• Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and IEP teams on behavior strategies.
• Train and support classroom staff on how to carry out the plans.
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and keep required documentation and compliance up to date.
